REVENANT

A watch that shows you its own heart.

Scroll to take it apart

01

Bezel

Ninety-six clicks, one direction only. It turns to mark elapsed time and refuses to turn back, because a bezel that can slip the wrong way can tell you that you have more air than you do.

02

Sapphire crystal

Second only to diamond for hardness. Boxed rather than domed, with the anti-reflective coating on the underside where it cannot be worn away by a shirt cuff.

03

Hands

Rhodium-plated, hollowed and filled with luminous compound. The seconds hand is the only part of this watch painted in the brand's own orange.

04

Open-worked dial

The middle is not there. Most watches hide the movement behind a disc; this one cuts the disc away and lets the machinery be the face.

05

Calibre RC-8

Automatic. The weight on the back swings as you move and winds the mainspring for you. The balance beats eight times a second — that is the blur you can see.

06

Gasket

A rubber ring worth less than a cup of tea. It is the only thing standing between the movement and the rain, and it is the part that fails first.

07

Case back

Screwed down against the gasket and engraved on the inside face, where only a watchmaker will ever read it.

08

Strap

Vulcanised rubber on quick-release bars. No tools, no scratched lugs, no trip to a shop to change it.

Most watches are sold on the outside.

This one is sold on what happens underneath it. A hundred and thirty-odd parts, most of them smaller than a grain of rice, arranged so that a coiled strip of steel unwinds at exactly the same rate for a day and a half.

Nothing about that is new. Watchmakers worked it out a very long time ago. What is new is that you can take it apart on a website, with a scroll wheel, without asking anyone's permission.

Water resistant to 100 m means it survives swimming and rain. It is not a diver's watch and is not marked as one — that word has a standard behind it, and an open-worked dial cannot carry enough luminous material to meet it.

Register interest

Ask to be told when it exists.

This is the form a watch brand would put here. It validates, it handles errors, it tells you what happened. It does not send anything anywhere, because there is nothing to send you.

That worked — and nothing was sent.

Your details never left this page. There was no request, nothing stored, nothing recorded. The REVENANT RC-01 is not a real watch and there is no waiting list to join.

What you just used is a real form: it checks what you typed, tells you what is wrong, moves focus to the problem and confirms when it is done. That part is exactly what we would build for you.

We made the watch up.
We did not make the page up.

There is no REVENANT RC-01. No such watch has ever been made, and nothing on the previous screens is for sale. We invented a product so we could show you a product page without borrowing somebody else's.

Everything else is real. The watch you scrolled through is drawn by your own browser, part by part — there is no video and no picture of a watch anywhere on this page. If you sell something that has parts, this is what we can do with it: let a buyer take it apart, look inside and understand it before they ever ring you.

Why it matters for a supplier: a buyer who has already seen inside the thing asks better questions and wastes less of your time on the first call.

Thanks — that one did send.

We have it, and we will come back to you. If it is quicker, ring +91 94637 49883.
